Opel didn’t start making V6s until the 90s. This has the good ol’ CIH Straight Six, which is a good thing because you can Lotus Omega swap them easily.

Inline 6, not very powerful and sounds like an old aircraft. I had one in the shop once. Kind of neat as a cruiser, but a good 635csi makes it look silly.
